Marshia Mili Gomes was elected President of the National Council of YMCAs of Bangladesh on 27^th January 2024 at the 45^th Annual General Meeting. She is the first female President in the 50 years history of the Bangladesh YMCA and also in the South Asia region of the YMCA movement since the YMCA was established in the Indian Sub-continent in 1854.
